Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Lacy Allee
Veterinarian
Dr. Lacy Allee is a native of Hamilton, Missouri. She graduated from Penney High School and attended the University of Missouri for her bachelor’s degree in animal science and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. It has always been Dr. Allee’s dream to return to her hometown to practice veterinary medicine. She started out practicing mixed animal medicine in Richmond, MO. Currently, Dr. Allee is an emergency clinician for one of the small animal emergency clinics in Kansas City and works out of Allee Veterinary Services. She is an active member of several veterinary organizations.
Dr. Allee is passionate about bovine reproduction, small ruminant medicine, and treating tough small animal cases. In her spare time, you will find Dr. Allee chasing around her three children and working on the family farm. The Allee has a Registered Red Angus cattle herd and four dogs. Dr. Allee aims to bring high-quality, advanced veterinary medicine to rural Northwest Missouri.
Dr. Kylynn Mallen
Veterinarian
Dr. Kylynn Mallen was raised on a third-generation diversified row-crop and cow-calf operation in Cameron, Missouri, where a strong work ethic and passion for livestock laid the foundation for her career in veterinary medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences and Industry from Kansas State University in 2022 before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2026.
Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Mallen worked with Allee Veterinary Services, Inc., gaining valuable hands-on experience and developing strong relationships with clients and the agricultural community she now serves. Her familiarity with the practice and dedication to patient care make her a valued member of the AVS team.
Dr. Mallen has a special interest in large animal medicine and small animal surgery. Her lifelong connection to agriculture drives her commitment to providing high-quality veterinary care while helping producers and pet owners achieve the best possible outcomes for their animals. She enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and partnering with them to support the health and well-being of their animals.
When she is not at the clinic or working chute-side, Dr. Mallen can often be found horseback riding, helping on her family’s farm, or spending time with her Corgi, Spur.
Meet Our Veterinary Staff
Ashley Wilton
Hospital Manager
Ashley Wilton is our Office Manager here at Allee Veterinary Services. She is essential in guiding every staff member, from kennel attendants to technicians. She is in charge of training new staff and keeping our Doctor on task. Ashley handles all large animal scheduling and can help create patient care and herd success plans. Ashley has known that she wanted to be a part of the veterinary field for as long as she can remember. She started working with Dr. Allee in 2016 as a kennel attendant at another facility and was excited to join her here at Allee Veterinary Services. She loves seeing our patients’ progress in all aspects of life: behavioral, medical, and growth. In Ashley’s spare, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family, going on emergency calls with Dr. Allee, and playing with her dog, Zoe.

Brooke Ruoff
Large Animal Veterinary Assistant
Brooke Ruoff is a dedicated Large Animal Veterinary Assistant at Allee Veterinary Services, Inc. She is passionate about animal care and enjoys the fast-paced, hands-on nature of veterinary medicine. Brooke is known for her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to step in wherever she is needed to support both patients and her team.
With a special interest in large animal medicine, Brooke enjoys working directly with livestock producers and assisting with a wide variety of procedures and patient care needs. She values the opportunity to learn something new each day and is committed to continually growing her skills and knowledge within the veterinary profession.
Brooke’s favorite part of working at Allee Veterinary Services is that no two days are ever the same. She appreciates the supportive team environment and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners.
Outside of work, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband, Bryce, and their daughter, Kimber. Together, they enjoy making memories with family and embracing life in rural Missouri.
Carissa Smith-Neely
Veterinary Assistant
Carissa Smith-Neely joined Allee Veterinary Services as a Veterinary Assistant after earning her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Northwest Missouri State University in 2025. She is passionate about both large and small animal medicine and plans to continue her education by becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Growing up in a small town south of Kansas City, Carissa developed a strong appreciation for animals and agriculture from an early age. She enjoys the variety that mixed animal practice provides and is committed to expanding her knowledge and skills each day to better serve clients and their animals.
Outside of the clinic, Carissa enjoys traveling and is always ready for a weekend adventure, whether that means visiting the Lake of the Ozarks or exploring the sand dunes. She shares her home with her beloved Pekingese, Moo Moo, who keeps her smiling and is undoubtedly her favorite companion.
Carissa’s favorite part of working at Allee Veterinary Services is the supportive team environment fostered by Dr. Allee and the clinic staff. She values the opportunity to learn something new every day and looks forward to building relationships with clients while helping provide exceptional care for their animals.

California Howell
Client Service Representative
California Howell is a Client Service Representative at Allee Veterinary Services, Inc. and has had a passion for animals for as long as she can remember. Raised in Cameron, Missouri, she grew up with a love for caring for animals and enjoys being part of a team that helps improve the lives of pets and livestock every day.
As one of the first friendly faces clients see when they visit or call the clinic, California enjoys helping clients feel welcome and ensuring both pets and their owners have a positive experience. She appreciates the fast-paced nature of veterinary medicine and enjoys the variety that each day brings.
California’s favorite part of working at Allee Veterinary Services is the positive atmosphere, the people she works alongside, and the opportunity to learn something new every day. She takes pride in supporting both clients and the veterinary team while helping the clinic provide exceptional care to its patients.
Outside of work, California enjoys camping and spending time outdoors. Whether exploring nature, enjoying a weekend camping trip, or simply soaking up time outside, she loves making the most of Missouri’s great outdoors.
Dayson Duncan
Large Animal Veterinary Assistant
Dayson Duncan is a Veterinary Assistant for Allee Veterinary Services. He grew up in Cameron MO and then Hillsdale Ks. He traveled full time with his family for 5 years before moving back to the area in 2022. Since he was a young boy, Dayson has been interested in animal sciences and nature. He freely learns as much as he can about the subjects. Animal science has always been second nature for him.
In his free time, he enjoys fishing, making music on his many instruments, spending time with family and friends camping, and training his dogs Punkin and Rory and his cat Yam. Allee Vet Services has been a blessing in his life. He greatly enjoys working with large animals while being out in nature, as well as seeing the many different kinds of pets that come through the doors.
Emmalynn Allee
Emmalynn Allee is the daughter of Dr Allee and her husband, Zach. When she is not excelling in her Elementary school classes, she enjoys learning as much as she can here at the clinic. She knows how to boost the clinic morale and keep everyone smiling each day! When not at the clinic, she loves spending time with her family, taking care of her chickens and goats at their family’s farm, and training her Australian Shepherd puppy, Wyatt Clay!
