Lily
Lily Webb

Veterinary Assistant

Lily was born and raised on a picturesque cattle farm just outside of Ludlow, Missouri. From an early age, the rhythms of rural life shaped her character and instilled in her a deep appreciation for animals and nature. In 2019, her family made a significant leap in their farming journey, expanding their cattle operation from a traditional Angus focus to a dynamic Scottish Highland surrogacy program. This pivotal moment ignited Lily’s passion for veterinary medicine, introducing her to the fascinating science behind animal care and health.

During this transformative time, she had the opportunity to connect with the dedicated team at Allee Vet Services, who further inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary care. After working as a registered nurse for several years, Lily decided to embrace a new challenge. She took a leap of faith and transitioned to a role as a veterinary assistant while also enrolling in a program to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Lily finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoys long walks with her beloved Australian Shepherds, Sage and Violet, who keep her active and provide endless companionship. In her downtime, she immersed herself in her passions for reading and drawing, finding solace and inspiration in both literature and art.

As Lily continues her journey in veterinary medicine, her dedication to animal welfare and her love for her rural roots remain at the heart of her aspirations. With each step forward, she is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of animals and their owners, blending her nurturing spirit with her scientific curiosity.

Tara Richardson
Groomer

Tara Richardson is our Groomer here at Allee Veterinary Services. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the area. Tara grew up immersed in the world of dogs. Her education began as a toddler, her mother was one of the leading pet groomers in the St. Louis area and she brought Tara to work with her. Learning all she could, Tara eventually began to work at her mom’s after school where she gained firsthand knowledge in the importance of structurally sound dogs. It became evident to her that the quality of life for soundly bred dogs was much better than the life of dogs from less sound lines. This knowledge sparked a desire in Tara to focus her future efforts, whether in the ring or the whelping pen, on healthy, beautiful dogs with sound temperaments.

When just fourteen she began to work for respected all-breed handler, Sharon Svoboda, who trained Tara in the sport of showing dogs. This training helped Tara become one of the first ever AKC registered apprentices. While she worked for Sharon she also competed in Jr. Showmanship, winning multiple scholarships and other high honors. For several years she was a top ranked Junior Handler with accomplishments that included qualifying and exhibiting at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show.

After ten years of working alongside Sharon, it was time to begin her own career as a professional handler. Her career as a handler includes campaigning multiple top dogs, best in shows, and Westminster kennel club breed winners. Now, she will be going back to her roots and pet grooming full time.
